Love is Sweet, Yes it is...
Valentine's Day is around the corner, and with it comes the sweet reminder of love in all its forms. Some might say, “Why do you need a guy or lady when you can live alone?” But God, who created man and woman, had a purpose for this creation. He saw that Adam was lonely and provided him with a woman as a helpmeet—an expression of love and companionship.
When you are with the right person, you want to spend time with them, feel vulnerable with them, and share your dreams and fears. Love is about connection, trust, and sharing life’s journey.
If it feels like you don’t have that romantic bond right now, take a moment to look around. You might just find the love you need in the friends who call to check on you, the family that supports you, or the people who simply show you kindness. Love is sweet, not just in romantic relationships, but in all the ways we care for each other.
But above all, don’t lose yourself in the pursuit of love. As you await that special someone, remember that you are whole on your own. Self-love is just as important, and I hope you find it in abundance this Valentine’s season.
For everyone seeking romantic love, don’t be afraid to take that step. Guys, if you have someone special in mind, ask her out. Ladies, don’t take too long to reflect when he asks. It is wonderful to have someone to talk to after a long, maybe tiring day.
And if you are not in the place where romance is your focus, that is okay. There is still love all around you. Love yourself, cherish your uniqueness, and never limit your potential.
While you wait for that someone to share your heart with, don't forget to show love to others. Check up on someone you care about, offer a helping hand, or simply share a kind word. The little acts of kindness can mean the world.
But of all love stories, remember—God's love is the greatest. In everything you do, always remember that God loves you passionately and is watching over you. His word is a bond you can count on. As it says in Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV): “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”
And lastly, please leave a love note for this writer. I look forward to your thoughts and comments.
Love💛
